Tim Holtz Adirondack Alcohol Ink Review

"Tim Holtz Adirondack Alcohol Ink"

 I would like to talk about this product and review it.

 First the description of the product on Rangerink.com is as follows.

 Acid-free, fast drying transparent coordinating dye inks specially formulated to create a colorful, polished stone effect. Use on glossy paper, dominoes, metal, shrink plastic, glass, and other slick surfaces. Available in 18 exciting 3-color palettes.

The Review: If you looked at my tutorials you will notice some of them are about alcohol ink techniques. That's because I absolutely love these little bottles of awesomeness! While there are multiple brands of Alcohol Ink, Tim Holtz brand is my favorite.
Alcohol Inks come in a variety of bold and beautiful colors and are super easy to use. I mostly use them in my art journals on porous pages and while this won't give you the effect they do on non-porous surfaces, they still give a pretty cool look.
On non-porous surfaces, the alcohol inks come out looking like the picture below and the tutorial can be found under my Home Decor Tutorials.
You can also use also use alcohol inks to paint like the picture below.
As you can see alcohol inks are an awesome medium that I think anyone can master and there really is not a downside to them that I have found.
You can find this product pretty much anywhere they sell art supplies, but here are a few;

Have you tried out this product? If so leave your comments below on your experience I would love to hear it. :)

The Perfect Craft and Diy Store in St Louis.

!!!ATTENTION!!!
Crafters and DIY Friends Located In St Louis and Surrounding Areas!!!
I found a reuse/repurpose Art and Craft supply place. It is a perfect place for people that love to do Pinterest DIY or just crafters in general. There pricing is great and they have a huge supply of items.
They do "bag fill pricing", which means you fill a paper bag they provide (it's a paper bag from the grocery store) and it's $10, less if you don't fill it all the way. You could end up with 50 -60 pounds of supplies in that one bag.
This place is ABSOLUTELY GREAT I'm officially in love!!
