I Made It: Stick Wind Chime

 My Stick Wind Chime

You can find the tutorial Here.

So as you know I have been on a stick craze ever since a giant branch fell down in my yard and now I'm dealing with a lot of sticks that I got to find something to do with.  Well I decided to do crafts with the majority of them so to the internet I went. If your interested in the craft tutorials I found where you can use sticks click Here.

This is one of the tutorials I found and I did follow the tutorial exactly but ended up adding to it at the end.  Instead of just hanging the stick from a tree I put them on string and in slots on a piece of circle wood. I then hung a bell in the middle by tying it with the hanging twine that goes through a hole i drilled through the middle of the wood circle.

But as for the tutorial itself it was a great tutorial for kids and adults alike for it was easy for kids but still makes a cute craft adults would like. I did end up painting my wood in metallic colors instead of rainbow to make it more adult looking.

I would do this craft again especially as a gift for my garden friends :)

I Made It: Homemade Bodybutter

 My Homemade Body Butter

You can find the tutorial for this project Here.

I found this tutorial easy to do and fun kinda like cooking. All the ingredients including the jars were at my local Hobby Lobby so that was really convenient.

 I did some things different-

I do recommend NOT to use Cocoa Butter if you want your own scent as the Cocoa Butter has a strong smell that will over power the fragrance you use in the Body Butter. I used Palm Oil as a replacement. I also used Cornstarch to make it not as greasy. I don't have the exact measurements on the cornstarch just add till the Body Butter feels good to you!

The last thing I did different was use fragrance oils instead of essential oils but this is really what you prefer. You can find the difference between both in this article Here.

Also the containers I used held 1cup of the butter so to get three jars I had to add 8 Tablespoons extra of all the ingredients to the recipe to make it work.

The Body Butter it self turned out GREAT!! It is so Good for dry skin it goes on kinda greasy even with the cornstarch but almost instantly absorbs into the skin.

All in all I definitely would make this craft again as it was fun and easy and makes great gifts!

I Made It: Dollar Store Rose Wreath

 My Dollar Store Rose Wreath

You can find the Tutorial to make this Here

I found this tutorial cheep and easy to make though cutting the flowers was tedious and it took a lot of flowers to make the wreath. But I did get all the supplies from the dollar store besides what I already had which was the glue.

I made this wreath for my moms door for Halloween and I think it turned out great! The spider web I think gave it that extra bit it needed!
